Thanks to Joyfully Thriving for the mention about my post on 2012 resolutions for the home.

I found some good stuff on her site, too, including this post on canning blackberries. This is a good how-to for those who are interested in visual instructions for canning. Canning has become a summer tradition for me and my mother-in-law and sister-in-law. We’ve done raspberries and peaches, but maybe this summer we’ll try blackberries.

2012 Home Resolutions

Have you ever thought about making resolutions for your home? We make them for our bodies and our lifestyles each year, but I think our homes could benefit from this practice as well. On Decorating Your Way, I suggest a few ideas to get you started. Our resolution this year is to start saving up for a house to have resolutions for!

In other news, I think this is going to be my last post for Decorating Your Way. My professional resolutions for 2012 include spending more time on longer pieces, and I think that necessitates cutting back in other ways.
